Privacy policy

Micromixer is an iPhone controller and SRT monitor for compatible ATEM, HyperDeck and Web Presenter equipment. This policy explains how the app handles information and how to contact Pittman Labs about privacy.

Information on your iPhone

Micromixer saves your equipment addresses, device and source names, source assignments and connection preferences on your iPhone. SRT passphrases and bridge access keys are stored in Apple’s Keychain. Secrets created by Micromixer use device-restricted Keychain storage that is available when your phone is unlocked. Settings and other local files may be included in backups according to your device settings.

Connections you choose

When you connect, the app exchanges control and status messages with the equipment or bridge addresses you configure and receives video and audio from your SRT sender. Hostname lookup may involve your network’s DNS provider. Your equipment, bridge, network and streaming services have their own data practices. Starting a Web Presenter stream uses the destination already configured on that equipment.

Micromixer does not operate a cloud account service, include advertising or analytics SDKs, track you across apps, or automatically upload your settings, diagnostics or received media to Pittman Labs. The app displays and plays received video and audio without saving it as a recording. Record and Go Live commands operate your external equipment; recordings and streams are handled by that equipment.

Local diagnostics

The app keeps two rotating diagnostic snapshots locally to help investigate interrupted sessions. They include the app version, timing, memory and CPU measurements, connection status and limited connection events. They are not automatically sent to Pittman Labs. iOS and media libraries may also produce local logs. Review and redact troubleshooting material before sharing it.

Support and website visits

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information and attachments you choose to send. We use that correspondence to respond and investigate the issue. You can request deletion of support correspondence by emailing brandon@pittmanlabs.tech. Do not send passwords, stream keys, passphrases, private setup links or unredacted logs.

Opening our support or privacy website makes an ordinary web request to Pittman Labs’ hosting service, which can receive information such as your IP address, requested page and browser details. These Micromixer pages do not include advertising, tracking scripts or analytics scripts.

Your controls

You can edit connection settings and remove saved devices in the app. Saving an empty SRT passphrase removes that passphrase from the app’s Keychain entry. Deleting the app removes its local app-container data, but Keychain entries and existing backups may remain. Manage backups through Apple’s device and backup settings.

Disconnecting the app closes its connections. It does not stop a recording or stream already running on your external equipment.
