Macromixer.
Your desktop control room.
Micromixer’s familiar workflow, with the space and shortcuts of a native Mac app.
Public download coming later. Macromixer currently has a local desktop build for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later. A public installer, price and release date have not been announced.
Room to run the show
- Choose 8, 16, 24 or 32 assigned sources, with red Program and green Preview banks.
- Select available M/E 1–4 buses, switch with the keyboard, and keep direct Program changes locked.
- Watch one SRT Program or encoded multiview feed in a larger monitor, focus mode or full screen.
- See stereo RMS and peak meters for the received SRT audio, including clipping and silence indicators.
- Find ATEM macros and pin eight favorites. Run, stop or continue a macro from the desktop.
- Route outputs and operate separately configured HyperDecks and Web Presenters.
Connect the Mac workspace
- Try demo mode first. Open Settings to enter your own ATEM address and assign source buttons.
- Use a direct LAN or VPN connection for the full toolset. The optional Micromixer Bridge supports switching and output routing; macros and camera adjustments need a direct ATEM connection.
- Configure SRT separately. Use Listener when your encoder calls the Mac’s reachable address, or Caller when your sender or relay is listening. Match the port and any passphrase at both ends.
- For a supported Web Presenter, open Recording & Live → Web Presenter → Send stream to this Mac. Review the destination before applying it; an active stream requires restart confirmation.
Changing M/E selects the controlled bus; it does not change the encoder’s picture. SRT audio meters measure the received stream, rather than individual ATEM audio channels. Closing Macromixer or disconnecting leaves external recordings and streams running.
Camera adjustments at your desk
The camera inspector offers iris, focus and autofocus, supported lens zoom, white balance and tint, auto white balance, gain and shutter angle. Choose a camera independently of Program and Preview, then unlock adjustments when you are ready.
Use a compatible Blackmagic camera and lens, a matching ATEM Camera ID, an ATEM return connection and a direct ATEM network connection. Lens support determines which focus, iris and zoom controls respond. These controls adjust the lens and picture; they do not move a pan/tilt head. Check the monitor to confirm the camera response.
